YEARS AND YEARS

YEARS AND YEARS is a British drama television series jointly produced by the BBC and HBO. It began broadcasting on BBC One in the UK on May 14, 2019 and on HBO on June 24, 2019. YEARS AND YEARS consists of 6 episodes of 1 hour.

STORY: The series follows the British Lyons family from Manchester. Daniel Lyons (Russell Tovey) was married to Ralph Cousins (Dino Fetscher). Stephen Lyons (Rory Kinnear) and Celeste Bisme-Lyons (T'Nia Miller) are worried about their children, Rosie Lyons (Ruth Madeley) is looking for a new partner and Edith Lyons (Jessica Hynes) is committed to one humanitarian cause after another. Their entire lives converge on one pivotal night in 2019.

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Daniel Lyons (Russell Tovey) is a housing officer in Manchester. Ralph Cousins (Dino Fetscher) is Daniel's ex-husband, who is a schoolteacher. Viktor Goraya (Maxim Baldry) is a Ukrainian refugee who develops a romantic relationship with Daniel.

AWARDS: ‘YEARS AND YEARS’ 1 win & 18 nominations. Dino Fetscher was in 2008 crowned Mr Gay UK. In 2017, he was nominated as Celebrity Rising Star at the British LGBT Awards.
