THE WALKING DEAD is an American post-apocalyptic horror drama television series developed by Frank Darabont, based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. THE WALKING DEAD consists of 177 episodes of 45 minutes.

STORY: The series features a large ensemble cast as survivors of a zombie apocalypse trying to stay alive under near-constant threat of attacks from zombies known as "walkers". With the collapse of modern civilization, these survivors must confront other human survivors who have formed groups and communities with their own sets of laws and morals, sometimes leading to open conflict between them.

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Aaron (Ross Marquand) is a do-gooder ex-NGO worker who delivered food and medicine to the Niger River Delta before the apocalypse. He currently comes back in a place called Alexandria, a heavily fortified “community”. There is also Aaron’s boyfriend and fellow Alexandria recruiter Eric (Jordyn Woods-Robinson). Aaron seems fiercely protective of Eric, who easily makes him laugh, and the two share a passionate kiss, relieved at finding each other alive.
