VALEA MUTĂ (Int. Title: The Silent Valley) is a Romanian thriller directed by Marian Crișan. It is the first HBO Europe miniseries to be made in this country and premiered on October 23, 2016 on HBO, 2. VALEA MUTĂ consists of 4 episodes of 1 hour.

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Filip (Theodor Soptelea) and Horia (Vlad Balăn) are two teenagers who seem to be bound by nothing more than their friendship. However, one night, when they visit Horia's cabin, they discover their mutual attraction to each other and make love to each other. When a car stops near the cabin, Filip and Horia find themselves in the middle of a nightmare: they witness a multiple murder. Afraid that the revelation will expose their relationship, the boys decide to keep quiet. But soon the secret becomes unbearable and Filip and Horia experience a series of terrifying events.
