UNTER UNS (Int. Title: Among Us) is a German television soap opera, first broadcast on RTL on 28 November 1994 Unter uns is not based on a foreign soap opera like Verbotene Liebe or Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten. UNTER UNS consists of 7437 episodes of 25 minutes.
STORY: It is centered on the lives of the people in a residential house, which is set in the fictional 'Schillerallee 10' in Cologne. Since the show debuted, the baker's family Weigel is the series core family.
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Ingo "Easy" Winter (Lars Steinhöfel) is the best buddy one could ask for. He lets the unscrupulous Ringo Beckmann (Timothy Boldt) persuade him to commit a credit card fraud. Easy's feelings for Ringo are stronger. In fact, Ringo begins to reciprocate the feelings. The two become a couple, but then Easy finds out about Ringo's intrigues. Ringo and Easy are getting married on November 26, 2019. The two spend their honeymoon in New York.

SPECIAL: Among other things, Easy's adoption wish was the subject of the soap - and how difficult it is for a gay couple to start a rainbow family. Boldt explained that the subject of homosexuality and the rainbow family was not something that the "Unter Uns" authors had sucked out of their fingers. "It is a topic that many people in Germany are passionate about," continued Boldt. The fictional story about a gay couple's desire to have children has never been seen before in a daily German TV series.
