TORE is a Swedish tragicomedy drama television series created by and starring by William Spetz. It was released in Sweden on 12 August 2023 before being released internationally on Netflix on 27 October 2023. TORE consists of 6 episodes of 30 minutes.

STORY: An insecure, aimless, and naive 27-year-old loses his father in an accident and does everything in his power to avoid his grief. He soon slips into the adult world of sex, drugs, and alcohol, much to the concern of his family and friends.

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: As Tore (William Spetz) tailspins out of control, he stumbles onto a journey of who he really is. During the day, he works at his father’s funeral home, acting like he isn’t suffering a huge loss — but at night he dips into the queer nightlife scene as a way to escape his emotions. As Tore struggles to stay afloat, he jeopardizes his friendships and livelihood. But he finds light in the darkness when he meets a local florist, Erik (Hannes Fohlin), and develops a friendship with a drag queen known as Shady Meat (Carlos Romero Cruz).
