TEEN WOLF is an American supernatural teen television series developed by Jeff Davis for MTV, loosely based on the 1985 film of the same name. Tyler Posey plays the title character Scott McCall, a young werewolf who defends his California town against supernatural creatures and other threats. series premiered on June 5, 2011 and ended on September 24, 2017, after six seasons. TEEN WOLF consists of 100 episodes of 41 minutes.
STORY: Teen Wolf revolves around Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), a high school student who lives in the fictional California town of Beacon Hills. Scott becomes the series' teenage werewolf of the same name after being bitten by an alpha werewolf the night before his sophomore year of high school, drastically changing his once-ordinary life. The bite forces him to balance his newfound identity with his everyday teenage life and ultimately help protect his hometown, which he learns is a beacon for supernatural activity. As a werewolf, he develops heightened physical abilities and senses far beyond those of an ordinary human, but he must also master animal instincts that are enhanced by feelings of aggression and full moon. Complicating matters further, Scott develops romantic feelings for new classmate Allison Argent (Crystal Reed), who comes from a family of werewolf hunters, including her father Chris Argent.
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE 1: Mason (Khylin Rhambo) and Corey (Michael Johnston) meet in the first half of Season 5 after Corey began to realize something was wrong with him. With Scott's help, Mason determines that Corey has been turned into a Chimera (monstrous creature) by the Dread Doctors, like many other teens in Beacon Hills. From then on, Mason does his best to help Corey control his powers, while also trying to make him more comfortable, but despite Mason's best efforts, the Dread Doctors still found Corey rejected his transformation and killed him.

SPECIAL: Despite generally positive reception, the show has struggled with portraying LGBTQ characters and issues and has been criticized for "queerbaiting." Queerbaiting is a fiction and entertainment marketing technique in which creators hint, but don't actually depict, same-sex romance or other LGBT representations. They do this to attract a gay audience ("bait") with the suggestion of relationships or characters that appeal to them, while at the same time trying to avoid alienating heterosexual consumers.
