STATION 19 is an American action drama television series created by Stacy McKee for ABC that premiered on March 22, 2018. It is the second spin-off of Grey's Anatomy (after Private Practice). STATION 19 consists of 105 episodes of 1 hour.
STORY: Set in Seattle, the series focuses on the lives of the men and women of Seattle Fire Station 19.
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Travis Montgomery (Jay Hayden) is an openly gay firefighter and the heart of Station 19. As Dylan (Nyle DiMarco), Season 2 is a deaf firefighter who appears in the episode "Into the Wildfire". Dylan falls in love with Travis Montgomery. Emmett Dixon (Lachlan Buchanan) is a co-worker of Travis and has a girlfriend. But in season 3 Emmett and Travis shares a kiss and are sleeping together. Emmett joins Travis in the shower, who seems surprised that he hasn't left yet. Emmett asks him if he wants him to leave, to which Travis says he doesn't, and the two of them make out.

SPECIAL: Nyle Dimarco was born deaf. DiMarco does not consider himself handicapped by deafness and sees his media profile as an opportunity to promote Deaf culture. He considers deafness an advantage in modeling because he is used to communicating without speaking. He believes that deaf actors should play deaf roles.
