SIX FEET UNDER is an American drama series created and produced by Alan Ball. It premiered on the premium network HBO in the United States on June 3, 2001 and ended on August 21, 2005, spanning 63 episodes over five seasons. SIX FEET UNDER consists of 63 episodes of 1 hour.

STORY: It depicts the life of the Fisher family, who run a funeral home in Los Angeles with their friends and loved ones. Nate Fisher (Peter Krause) inherits the property of Fisher & Sons Funeral Home with his brother David (Michael C. Hall), owned by his father (Richard Jenkins) who suddenly dies. The Fisher clan also includes widow Ruth Fisher (Frances Conroy) and daughter Claire Fisher (Lauren Ambrose). Other regulars include funeral director and family friend Federico Diaz (Freddy Rodriguez), Nate's on-again, off-again friend Brenda Chenowith (Rachel Griffiths), and David's long-term boyfriend Keith Charles (Mathew St. Patrick).

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: David Fisher (Michael C. Hall) is the middle kid, he's uptight and coming to terms with being gay. Keith Charles (Mathew St. Patrick) is David's on-off significant other, he is a member of the LAPD.
