ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO is an American science fiction drama television series named after the city of Roswell, New Mexico, developed by Carina Adly Mackenzie for The CW, which debuted during the 2018-2019 television season. The series is the second television adaptation of the Roswell High book series by Melinda Metz. In January 2020, The CW renewed the series for a third and fourth season. ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO consists of 52 episodes of 45 minutes.

STORY: After Liz Ortecho (Jeanine Mason) returns to her hometown of Roswell, New Mexico, the daughter of undocumented immigrants discovers that her teenage crush is an alien who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden throughout his life. She protects his secret as the two reconnect, but when a violent attack points to a larger alien presence on Earth, the politics of fear and hatred threaten to expose him.

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Michael Guerin (Michael Vlamis) is a troubled but brilliant alien drifter who survived a traumatic childhood and tries to find a way to escape from Earth. Alex Manes (Tyler Blackburn) is an Air Force veteran with significant physical and psychological trauma. Alex prepares to give up his dreams and the possibility of a future with the man he loves, Michael Guerin, to live up to his father's expectations. Alex learns from Jesse (Trevor St. John)'s files that Michael is an alien.
