GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Kevin Keller (Casey Cott) is an openly gay high school student and the son of Riverdale's sheriff. He is friends with Archie (K.J. Apa), Betty (Lily Reinhard) and Veronica (Camila Mendes). Kevin's storyline is his relationship with the still in the closet Moose (Cody Kearsley). Kevin asks Moose to be his date for his father's wedding. He says no, because he is not out. Kevin becomes frustrated and tells Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) about it. Moose is then "outed" by Cheryl.
