RANTABAARI (Int. Title: Beach Bar) is a Finnish drama series that started on Sub-channel on September 10, 2019 and is a sister series to The Secret Lives of MTV3. RANTABAARI consists of 264 episodes of 22 minutes.

STORY: Olivia Pouru, (Sara Ritala), is a sapphic DJ who dates multiple different women until meeting a Tinder user under a username "Kaarina". Their relationship seems to go well first but then "Kaarina" seemingly disappears. Olivia finds a new woman named "Rosa". Later she finds out that "Rosa" is really her ex-boyfriend Timi who rapes her after revealing he is "Rosa". Later, Olivia and "Kaarina" (Maria Loikala) fall in love.

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Milo Vinberg (Eric Barco), is a gay man who begins a relationship with his university professor Sauli Jokelainen (Heikki Slåen).

SPECIAL: Eric Barco has performed in the Ballet of the National Opera's The Nutcracker and the Mouse King in the role of Little Pekka, and has performed Birkiä in Marjo Kuusela's choreography Ronja, the daughter of a robber.

The series is also followed on an Instagram account, where the characters update their affiliations and plot plots are also published there. The series has been filmed in Taivallahti, Helsinki, where the series' events also take place.  The characters in the series also live in Pikku Huopalahti.
