THE PATH is an American drama streaming television series created by Jessica Goldberg and starring Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan and Hugh Dancy. THE PATH consists of 36 episodes of 1 hour.

STORY: The show portrays members of a fictional religion known as Meyerism. Eddie Lane (Aaron Paul) lives in Upstate New York with his wife Sarah (Michelle Monaghan) and their two children, Hawk (Kyle Allen) and Summer (Aimee Lawrence). They are all members of the Meyerist Movement, which combines aspects of New Age philosophy, shamanism, Scientology, Christian mysticism and utopianism. Eddie returns from Peru, where he had undergone a spiritual retreat intended to take him further up the spiritual ladder of Meyerism. Unbeknownst to his family, Eddie experienced an epiphany while in Peru that makes him question his belief in Meyerism. Meanwhile, Cal Roberts (Hugh Dancy), a friend of Sarah's and one of Meyerism's top leaders, tries to expand the group's influence and deal with the impending death of their founder, Doctor Stephen Meyer (Keir Dullea).

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Kyle Allen as Hawk Lane: Eddie and Sarah's devoted teenage son who wants to drop out of high school, where he is constantly attacked for his Meyerist faith and wants to join The Movement full-time. His loyalty falters when a popular classmate strikes up a relationship with him. Hawk overhears Caleb (Titus Makin Jr.) singing at a Christian nightclub. At the Lane house, Hawk and Caleb confide in each other and have sex. Hawk and Eddie, the father of Hawk, go to the gay conversion centre to free Caleb, but they fail.
