THE OUTS is a web series which premiered on Vimeo in 2012. Filmed and set in Brooklyn, New York. It debuted in March 2012 with a run of six episodes, with a "Chanukah Special" in April 2013. A second season of six episodes began in March 2016, followed by a special December 2016 episode. THE OUTS consists of 14 episodes of 15 minutes.

STORY: the show tells the story of Mitchell (Adam Goldman, also  director, creator and co-writer), his best friend Oona (Sasha Winters), and his ex-boyfriend Jack (Hunter Canning). Following their breakup, Mitchell and Jack navigate gay life in New York. The friendship between Mitchell and Jack is devoid of sexual tension because of their history and their mutual growth. They’re ex-boyfriends with emotional benefits.

GAY COUPLE STORY: Jack's (Hunter Canning) newest love interest  is Paul "Scruffy" (Tommy Heleringer).

Jack Widdows (Hunter Canning) & Paul (Tommy Heleringer)

HUNTER CANNING (2012-now) ?, Monte Nido, CA, USA

TOMMY HELERINGER (2012-now)  ?, Louisville, KT, USA

SPECIAL: In The Outs, Goldman has created a show with sufficient depth to support conflicting notions of sexual and identity politics, a complexity rarely afforded to queer characters onscreen. The Outs is an example of what will hopefully, eventually, one day be commonplace: it’s a show featuring gay characters that isn’t about being gay.
