ONE LIFE TO LIVE (often abbreviated as OLTL) is an American soap opera broadcast on the ABC television network for more than 43 years, from July 15, 1968, to January 13, 2012, and then on the internet as a web series on Hulu and iTunes via Prospect Park.  Created by Agnes Nixon. ONE LIFE TO LIVE consists of 4824 episodes of 1 hour.

STORY: One Life to Live is set in the fictional city of Llanview, a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The show continually centres on the wealthy, White Anglo-Saxon Protestant Lord family, with the working-class Polish American Wolek family, the less wealthy Irish Catholic Riley family, and the African-American Sadie Gray.

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: The pairing of Kyle (Brett Claywell) and Fish (Scott Evans) are former frat brothers' blossoming relationship helped draw new viewers to the 41-year-old soap, viewers who might not have previously watched a soap, but tuned in because they were intrigued by a storyline that dealt with a topic they hadn't before seen addressed on daytime television.
