OCTOBER FACTION

OCTOBER FACTION is an American supernatural drama streaming television series created by Damian Kindler, based on the comic series of the same name by Steve Niles and Damien Worm. It premiered on Netflix on January 23, 2020. In March 2020, the series was cancelled after one season. OCTOBER FRACTION consists of 11 episodes of 39 minutes.

STORY:  october Faction follows the story of a monster-hunting couple, Fred (J.C. Mackenzie) and Deloris Allen (Tamara Taylor) and their twin teenage children, Geoff (Gabriel Darku) and Viv (Aurora Dawson-Hunte). Following the death of Fred's father Samuel, the family decides to go back to their home town Barrington-on-Hudson to arrange the funeral.

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Geoff Allen (Gabriel Darku) Deloris and Fred's openly gay teenage son and Viv's twin. Believing that their folks work in insurance, Geoff and his twin sister Viv (Aurora Dawson-Hunte) know nothing about the existence of warlocks, werewolves and vampires. Phillip Mishra (Praneet Akilla) is the alpha and star athlete in the high school the Allen Family kids attend. He’s also the son of a prominent townsperson. He carries a heavy burden of high expectations from both his family and the society around him. He is a closeted jock and a bully to Geoff. On the surface he very much tries to hide this stress and compensates by pushing his male bravado out to assert his dominance. Through the series however, after meeting Geoff Allen, tensions arise.
