MODERN FAMILY is an American mockumentary family sitcom television series created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan for the ABC. It ran for eleven seasons, from September 23, 2009 to April 8, 2020. MODERN FAMILY consists of 250 episodes of 22 minutes.

STORY: It follows the lives of three different families (nuclear, mixed, and same-sex)  in suburban Los Angeles, joined by patriarch Jay Pritchett (Ed O'Neill). The three families are connected through Jay Pritchett and his children, daughter Claire (Julie Bowen) and son Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson). Patriarch Jay remarried a much younger woman, Gloria Delgado Pritchett (Sofia Vergara), a passionate Colombian immigrant with whom he has a young son, Fulgencio Joseph "Joe" Pritchett and a son from Gloria's previous marriage, Manuel "Manny" Delgado (Rico Rodriguez).

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE:   Mitchell Pritchett (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) is Cameron's (Eric Stonestreet) husband, Jay's son, father of Lily and Rexford. Cameron Tucker is Mitchell's husband, Jay's son-in-law, father of Lily and Rexford.
