MANO DE HIERRO

MANO DE HIERRO (Int. Title: IRON REIGN) is a Spanish crime thriller television series. It stars Eduard Fernández, Chino Darín, Jaime Lorente, Natalia de Molina, Sergi López, and Enric Auquer. MANO DE HIERRO consists of 8 episodes of 52 minutes.

STORY: Set in the Port of Barcelona, the plot follows the control exercised over illegal cargo by the owner of the port's main terminal, Joaquín Manchado (Eduard Fernández), and a gang war that ensues after an accident and the loss of a stash of cocaine.

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Focusing on the Barcelona drug cartel, in Iron Reign Jaime Lorente plays Néstor, a married man with the only daughter of the reigning mafia boss. Néstor, however, hides a secret that threatens his involvement in the family business: he cheats on his wife with Alex, played by Joel Bosqued. In a particularly hot scene, Néstor shows up at a gay party where he hides away with Alex.

SPECIAL: On November 24, 2022, Netflix announced that they had begun filming a new series, Mano de hierro, in various locations in Barcelona, Lleida and Girona. Chino Darín, Jaime Lorente, Natàlia de Molina, Sergi López, Enric Auquer, Eduard Fernández, Melina Matthews, Roberto Mateos and Óscar Foronda were confirmed as the main actors.
