LOVE, VICTOR is an American teen comedy-drama streaming television series created by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, inspired by and set in the same world as the 2018 film Love, Simon with Nick Robinson as Simon. It is produced by 20th Television, with Aptaker and Berger serving as showrunners. The second season premiered on June 11, 2021. the series was renewed for a third season. LOVE, VICTOR consists of 28 episodes of 30 minutes.
STORY: The first season focuses on a new student at Creekwood High School, Victor (Michael Cimino). The series follows his journey of self-discovery: facing challenges at home and struggling with his sexual orientation. The second season deals with the aftermath of his coming out and follows Victor as he navigates through this new world with his friends, while also dealing with his relationship with Benji.
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Victor Salazar (Michael Cimino) is a new student at Creekwood High School, struggling with his identity surrounding his sexual orientation and adjusting to a new city. Benji Campbell (George Sear) became friends with this new student, when he hired Victor to work as a barista at the coffee shop. It is apparent that he began to grow feelings towards Victor, gifting Victor a portrait of him he drew for his birthday. He briefly ended his friendship with Victor, when Victor unexpectedly kissed him. To distance himself from Victor, Benji switched coffee shops.
