LOOKING is an American comedy-drama television series that ran on HBO from January 19, 2014 to July 23, 2016. Created by Michael Lannan and produced by David Marshall Grant, Sarah Condon and Andrew Haigh, it stars Jonathan Groff, Frankie J Alvarez, Murray Bartlett, Lauren Weedman, Russell Tovey and Raúl Castillo. LOOKING consists of 18 episodes of 30 minutes.
STORY: The series follows the experiences of three openly gay friends who live and love in modern-day San Francisco.
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Patrick Murray (Jonathan Groff), a 29-year-old video game designer, lives in San Francisco with his friends, aspiring restaurateur Dom (Murray Bartlett) and artist assistant Agustín (Frankie J. Alvarez). Patrick has a tendency to be naive and has generally been unlucky in love, but things in Patrick's life change when he meets the handsome but humble Mission hairdresser Richie (Raúl Castillo) and the arrival of a new boss, the attractive but cohabiting Kevin (Russell Tovey). The three men navigate life, relationships, family and careers in modern San Francisco.
