LOKI is an American television series created by Michael Waldron for the streaming service Disney+, based on Marvel Comics featuring the character of the same name. It is the third television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios. LOKI consists of 12 episodes of 53 minutes.
STORY: After stealing the Tesseract during the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), an alternate version of Loki is brought to the mysterious Time Variance Authority (TVA), a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space and monitors the timeline. They give Loki a choice: face being erased from existence due to being a "time-variant", or help fix the timeline and stop a greater threat. Loki ends up in his own crime thriller, traveling through time, hunting a female version of himself named Sylvie.
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: The defining relationship for Loki (Tom Hiddleston) will likely be with the character of Mobius (Owen Wilson). Hiddleston spoke about the love story between Mobius and Loki as well as the obligation he feels around his character’s canonically queer and gender-fluid identity. Helping Loki through this journey of self-discovery is Mobius, who gives Hiddleston’s character a healthy dose of psychiatric analysis in the series premiere.

OWEN WILSON (2021-2023) November 18, 1968, Dallas, TX, USA
SPECIAL: The paternal/avuncular/reflective love story of Mobius and Loki aside, longtime fans of the character are eager to know if the Disney+ version of Loki will finally lean into the canonically queer, pansexual, and gender-fluid identity Loki has in the comics.
AWARDS: ‘LOKI’ won 6 Prime-Time Emmys. 12 wins and 74 nominations.
