LITTLE AMERICA is an American anthology streaming television series produced for Apple TV+. It premiered on January 17, 2020. The series was renewed for a second season in December 2019, prior to the series premiere. LITTLE AMERICA consists of 12 episodes of 35 minutes.

STORY: Little America looks to "go beyond the headlines to look at the funny, romantic, heartfelt, inspiring and unexpected lives of immigrants in America, at a time when their stories are more relevant than ever.

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: In sequence “The Son” directed by Stephen Dunn and written by Amrou Al-Kadhi & Stephen Dunn. For “The Son,” an episode of Apple TV+’s acclaimed anthology centred on the immigrant experience, Little America, Haaz Sleiman portrayed a gay Syrian refugee Rafiq trying to gain asylum in the United States after his father brutally condemns him for kissing a man. Rafiq’s friend, Zain (Adam Ali), is a Kelly Clarkson fanboy and finds comfort in her song “Breakaway.”
