THE LAIR is an American gay vampire television series produced by here! in 2007. The first season consisted of six episodes in January 2007. The first two episodes premiered on June 1, 2007. Season 2 consisted of nine episodes and debuted on September 5, 2008. A third season of 13 episodes was announced in September 2008 Season 3 premiered on September 4, 2009. THE LAIR consists of 29 episodes of 30 minutes.

STORY: The Lair is a private gay club run by vampires, who use the club as a source of food from attractive young men. The Lair is set on a small island community whose exact location is unknown. Thom (David Shae), a reporter for the local newspaper, investigates a series of deaths of young men known as the "John Doe murders". His investigation leads him to a sex club called The Lair, which he discovers is run by a group of vampires led by Damian (Peter Stickles).

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Damian (Peter Stickles) is attracted to Thom (David Shae) because Thom is the doppelgänger of the man who turned Damian into a vampire two centuries earlier. Colin (Dylan Fox), Damian's lieutenant, plots to brick Damian behind a wall and take over The Lair. Local cop Sheriff Trout (Colton Ford), who is also investigating the murders, also finds his way to The Lair. A firefight ensues, killing Damian's human henchman Frankie (Brian Nolan).
