INDUSTRY is a television drama series created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay. The show follows a group of young graduates competing for permanent positions at Pierpoint & Co, a prestigious investment bank in London. INDUSTRY consists of 24 episodes of 50 minutes.
STORY: Young bankers and traders make their way in the financial world in the aftermath of the 2008 collapse.
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Harper Stern (Myha'la Herrold), a New Yorker who moves to London in search of success- and who secures a job after lying about the university she graduated from. She’s joined by Gus Sackey (David Jonsson), a gay, black graduate of Eton and Oxford. A hedge fund manager Jesse Bloom (Jay Duplass) has travelled to the UK along with his troubled son Leo (Sonny Poon Tip), who comes involved with Gus.
