GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Simon (David H. Holmes) is an employee at Championship Vinyl and Rob's best friend and also Rob's heartbreak #3. Blake (Edmund Donovan) is a bartender who flirts with Simon. It's Simon's turn to list his Top 5 most memorable heartbreak. He is nervous about being infatuated with his jaded view of love. However, he begins a relationship with Blake.

SPECIAL: The series begins as an exact copy of the movie and slowly evolves into an honest but clichéd story about record store employees Cherise and Simon, played by Da'Vine Joy Randolph and David H.
