GREY'S ANATOMY is an American medical drama television series that premiered on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) on March 27, 2005. The title is an allusion to Gray's Anatomy, a classic textbook on human anatomy first published in London in 1858 and written by Henry Gray. GREY'S ANATOMY consists of 431 episodes of 41 minutes.

STORY: The series focuses on the lives of surgical interns, who must balance their personal and professional relationships as they become experienced doctors

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Introduced in Season 15, Nico Kim (Alex Landi) is an orthopedic colleague who works under Atticus Lincoln. Openly gay, he is initially hesitant to enter into a relationship with recently come out Levi Schmitt (Jake Borelli), whom Nico calls a "baby gay." Nevertheless, after being stuck together during the wind storm, the two start dating. When Levi demands a more emotional connection, Nico ends their relationship. This partnership eventually leads to a full-blown reconciliation, with Nico finally giving Levi the emotional attention he desires.
