GRACE AND FRANKIE is an American comedy streaming television series created by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris for Netflix. It premiered on Netflix on May 8, 2015, and was released simultaneously with all 13 episodes of the first season. The second through sixth seasons, also consisting of 13 episodes each, were released on May 6, 2016. GRACE & FRANKIE consists of 94 episodes of 30 minutes.

STORY: Grace Hanson (Jane Fonda) and Frankie Bergstein (Lily Tomlin) are two unlikely friends who are brought together after their husbands announce that they are in love and are planning to get married. The series follows Grace Hanson, a retired cosmetics mogul with a sharp tongue, and Frankie Bergstein, a quirky art teacher. The women have never really liked each other and are forced to live together due to lack of money.

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Robert (Martin Sheen) and Sol (Sam Waterston), are successful divorce lawyers in San Diego. Grace and Frankie's lives are turned upside down when Robert and Sol announce that they are in love and they leave their wife. Sol Bergstein is a sweet, sweet-tempered ex-divorce lawyer turned gay rights activist. Sol becomes Robert's husband and Bud & Coyote's adoptive father. Robert Hanson is a successful divorce attorney who turned into acting after retirement. He was married to Grace for 40 years and the couple had two daughters, Brianna & Mallory
