GOOD OMENS is a British fantasy comedy television series created by Neil Gaiman based on his and Terry Pratchett's 1990 novel. A co-production between Amazon MGM Studios and BBC Studios, the series was directed by Douglas Mackinnon. GOOD OMENS consists of 13 episodes of 55 minutes.
STORY: The series follows the demon Crowley (David Tennant) and the angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen), longtime acquaintances who have grown accustomed to each other's company, and to a pleasant life on Earth as representatives of Heaven and Hell, and who have agreed not to let the conflict between their sides prevent their friendship. When told that Armageddon is about to happen – the final battle between Heaven and Hell – they team up to prevent the coming of the Antichrist and the end of the pleasant existence they enjoy on Earth.
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Aziraphale (Michael Sheen), an angel who has lived on Earth since the dawn of creation. He guarded the East gate entrance to the Garden of Eden with a flaming sword. Crowley (David Tennant), a demon who has lived on Earth since the dawn of creation. He is the Serpent who tempted Eve with the apple from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Gaiman has confirmed more than once that Crowley and Aziraphale are in love, but labels like gay, bi or even pansexual don't quite fit in this instance.

DAVID TENNANT (2019-2023) April 18, 1971, Bathgate, UK
SPECIAL: Good Omens‘ social makeup isn’t like ours. Being queer is the norm – and homophobia doesn’t exist. It would be a stretch to say that all queer people in this fantasy world are happy, especially given the gut-wrenching season finale, but for the most part, they seem to be.
AWARDS: ‘GOOD OMENS: Won 3 Primetime Emmys. 6 wins and 16 nominations.
