GLUE is a British television drama showing on E4. It was created and written by Jack Thorne. It started broadcasting from September 15 to November 3, 2014 and consists of eight episodes. GLUE consists of 8 episodes of 45 minutes.
STORY: The plot revolves around the friends of a 14-year-old boy, Caleb Bray (Tommy Lawrence Knight), who is found dead. When the body is found to have been run over by the wheels of a tractor, the villagers in this remote community and his friends are forced to open up their world and watch their secrets come out. The investigation into the killer reveals their dark and dirty secrets, hidden behind the beautiful English countryside. Howle as James Warwick made his debut on E4 television.
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: James (Billy Howle) is drugged with coffee to force him to tell the truth. James even hallucinates when he sees Cal (Tommy Lawrence Knight), his murdered gay lover, telling him to 'destroy the contract to save the farm'. An emotional James tells that he found the contract mentioned by Cal, proving that Cal's family co-owned the Blackout farm. This is a motive for murder.

SPECIAL: Digital Spy described Glue as "can't miss TV" and also said "this is a whodunnit that will blow your mind". The Independent stated positively that Glue exposes the 'decaying despair of the countryside'.
