GLEE (stylized as glee) is an American musical comedy-drama television series that aired on the Fox network in the United States from May 19, 2009 to March 20, 2015. GLEE consists of 121 episodes of 44 minutes.
STORY: It revolves around the glee club called the New Directions at the fictional William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio, acting as the show choir. The various choir members are concerned with social issues, especially those related to sexuality, race, family, teenage relationships and teamwork. Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) takes over the glee club after former teacher Sandy Ryerson (Stephen Tobolowsky), who has been fired for inappropriate contact with a student. Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) was raised as an only child by a gay couple. She has been looking for ways to be in the limelight from an early age. She is a big fan of musicals and has also participated in many singing competitions. She also makes videos of herself which she posts on her Myspace page. However, she is quite ridiculed by the cheerleaders and other students at McKinley High. She often comes into conflict with the rather fashion-conscious gay Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer). Gradually they get to know each other better and they even sing a few duets together.
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE 1: Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) meet in the season two episode Never Been Kissed, when Kurt tries to spy on the Warblers and they become instant friends. The couple split up in The Break-Up, but they start dating again in Love, Love, Love, in which Kurt accepts Blaine's marriage proposal. The Kurt-Blaine relationship, sometimes referred to by the contraction "Klaine" by fans of Glee and the media, developed slowly.
