STORY: Five Bedrooms tells the story of five people at different times of their lives. They bond after they find themselves seated together at the singles table at a wedding. After a few too many drinks, the solution to all of their problems seems to be buying a house together; a five bedroom house.

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: This year may be different in what is usually a family centered occasion with Harry's Uncle Akshay Mama and his immediate family, Manju (Kumud Merani) has decided to extend the guest list to include Harry's (Roy Joseph) roommates, Marty (Dennis Coard) and most importantly for Harry, Xavier (Josh McKenzie), that is until Manju tells him that Xavier's invitation can only be as a friend and not a boyfriend. Harry has to decide what to do in the conflict between opening up to traditional Akshay Mama, the likelihood of he not only accepting Xavier as Harry's boyfriend but accepting Harry's homosexuality remote at best, against believing that for the first time in his life he is in love. An admission by Xavier may complicate matters even more.
