FIRE ISLAND is an American reality television series from the LGBT network Logo, which premiered on April 27, 2017. The series is produced by Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, Albert Bianchini and Lenid Rolov. FIRE ISLAND consists of 7 episodes of 41 minutes.
STORY: The perfect summer vacation quickly spirals out of control for a group of friends in the infamously picturesque party destination of Fire Island. They become entangled in a web of sex and lies. Khasan Brailsford, a dancer and choreographer. Jorge Busstillos, Khasan's best friend, a marketing strategist. Cheyenne Parker, entrepreneur and model. Justin Russo, an artist and illustrator. Patrick McDonald, a bartender at Fire Island. Brandon Osorio, New York University student and aspiring photographer.
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Dancer and choreographer Khasan invites five friends to stay with him at a beach house in Fire Island this summer. Jorge feels disrespected when Patrick's friends undress. Justin and Khasan invite their pals to Fire Island for the weekend, and Jorge worries how he'll react if his best friend Khasan has less time for him. Cheyenne is hesitant to go to an underwear party with the others because he has just started a relationship. Patrick participates in a drag race. Khasan introduces his friend to his mother. Patrick invites his ex-boyfriend Chris Salvatore to the house, causing friction with Cheyenne.

SPECIAL: The actors play under their own names. Following the release of a 90-second teaser for Fire Island, it was suggested that this series contributes to gay America's moral decline. By glorifying behaviour that negatively impacts the perception of the LGBT community. Fire Island cast members defended the series, calling it "light-hearted" and noting that "we're not harming anyone."
