DEAD BOY DETECTIVES is an upcoming supernatural horror detective-comedy television series developed by Steve Yockey based on the DC Comics characters of the smae name by Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner. It is set to premiere on Netflix on April 25, 2024. DEAD BOY DETECTIVES consists of 8 episodes of 1 hour.
STORY: The series follows Charles Rowland (Jayden Revri) and Edwin Paine (Lukas Gage) , who decided not to enter the afterlife and stay on Earth and investigate crimes that involve the supernatural. Teenagers born decades apart who find each other only in death, Edwin and Charles are best friends and ghosts… who solve mysteries. They will do anything to stick together — including escaping evil witches, Hell and Death herself.
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Lukas Gage will play the recurring role of the Cat King, described as a charming trickster and itinerant cat spirit, who takes keen interest in Edwin Paine (Max Jenkins). Lukas Gage takes over the role from Alexander Calvert.
