DANTE’S COVE is a supernatural American soap opera oriented towards LGBT people and broadcast from October 7, 2005 to December 21, 2007. Created, written by Michael Costanza and directed by Sam Irvin. Although an announcement was made about a fourth season, no fourth season was produced. DANTE'S COVE consists of 13 episodes.

STORY: Combining elements of the horror and soap opera genres, the series tells the story of Kevin (Gregory Michael) and Toby (Charlie David), a young couple trying to live together while overcoming the dark mystical forces that conspire to separate them. 

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Young couple Kevin (Gregory Michaels) and Toby (Charlie David) arrive at Dante's Cove, home to a cult committed to the supernatural religion Tresum. By freeing the charismatic Ambrosius (William Gregory Lee) from his magical captivity, Kevin stirs up a rivalry between Ambrosius and the Tresum’s Avatar Grace (Tracy Scoggins) that has been simmering for more than 150 years. Ambrosius threatens to tear Kevin and Toby apart forever, with unforeseen collateral damage.

SPECIAL: Series director Sam Irvin has let it be known that the fanbase is expanding beyond the niche of the LGBT community. "There are gays, lesbians, bisexuals and straights on this show, and maybe there are more gays and lesbians than most shows, but it also seems to appeal to a mainstream heterosexual audience."
