GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Max Carbó (Bernat Quintana) is Clara and Quim's adoptive son. His childhood is marked by his sexual confusion. Once he discovers that he is gay, he is tormented by Clara Bosch's new partner, for which he leaves with Quim Noguera. Medical student Max has a relationship with Enric (Jordi Parés), but he ends up staying with Iago Vilches (Marc Clotet), who is a journalist and friend of Clara Bosch. Max was actually against an open relationship, but felt pressured into it because Enric felt he had missed out on a lot while being in the closet.
