CLASS
CLASS is a British science fiction television series and a spin-off of the long-running program Doctor Who. It was created and written by Patrick Ness, who also produced Doctor Who. Lead writers are Steven Moffat, and Brian Minchin, who acted as producers of Doctor Who and also two spin-offs Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures. CLASS consists of 8 episodes of 45 minutes.
STORY: The story centres on five students and employees of Coal Hill Academy, a returning location of Doctor Who, who are tasked by the Doctor to deal with alien threats. They also try to deal with their problems in their personal lives
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Charlie Smith (Greg Austin) is an alien who pretends to be a human student. He is the Prince of the Rhodians and the last of his kind. After being rescued by the Doctor when his entire race is slaughtered the Shadow Kin. He transforms his body into that of a human and pretends to be an average 17-year-old student from Sheffield. Matteusz Andrzejewski (Jordan Renzo) is Charlie's love interest and later boyfriend, born and raised in Poland. Matteusz Andrzejewski is a student at the Coal Hill Academy. He is gay and as a result has conflicts with his deeply religious Polish parents. He is close to his grandmother, who calls him "Matti". Since his parents kicked him out when he started dating Charlie Smith, he has lived with Charlie and Miss Quill.

SPECIAL: The series received generally positive reviews from critics with praise for its dark tone. However, the series scored poorly for its broadcast on BBC One. In September 2017, BBC Three confirmed that they were ending the series.
