LA CASA DE LAS FLORES (Int. Title : The House of Flowers) is a Mexican black comedy-drama television series created by Manolo Caro for Netflix. Written and directed almost entirely by the creator, the series features stars such as Verónica Castro, Cecilia Suárez, Aislinn Derbez, Darío Yazbek Bernal, Arturo Ríos, Paco León, Juan Pablo Medina, Luis de la Rosa, María León and Isela Vega. LA CASA DE LAS FLORAS consists of 34 episodes of 1 hour.

STORY: It depicts a dysfunctional upper-class Mexican family who own a prestigious flower shop and a struggling cabaret, both called "The House of Flowers."

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Julian (Dario Yazbek Bernal) is sure he is gay and he has been in a romantic relationship with Diego (Juan Pablo Medina) for several years. He is trapped in a family arrangement that he must marry Lucia (Sheryl Rubio). As a homosexual, he doesn't give a damn about this, but since his family doesn't know about it, he continues to struggle. He then comes out to Lucia, who forces him to have sex with her anyway. After having sex with Lucia, Julian realizes that he is not gay but bisexual.
