BEWEGTE MÄNNER  (Int. Title: Moving Men) is a German sitcom based on Ralf König's comic and the film based on it, ‘Der Bewegte Mann’ by Sönke Wortmann. The series was nominated for the German Television Award as best sitcom in 2003 and 2004. The episodes were aired on Sat. 1 between 2003 and 2005. BEWEGTE MÄNNER consists of 39 episodes of 24 minutes.

STORY: Moving Men tells the story of a friendship between two very different individuals, Norbert (Oliver Muth) and Axel (Michael Härle). Similar to love, where no one knows where it falls, the same applies to their friendship. If only there wasn't a small problem: Norbert is gay, Axel is straight. Norbert's secret crushes on Axel and his visible advances make life in the shared apartment that they both live both varied and turbulent. Together with their equally diverse circle of friends, Norbert and Axel repeatedly find themselves in hair-raising and crazy situations.

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Walter, called Waltraud (Victor Schefé), the fag and male femininity of the shared apartment. Frank (Ingo Naujoks), police officer and Waltraud's lover.

Walter Gutbrod (Victor Schefé) & Frank Hilsmann (Ingo Naujoks)

SPECIAL: Ralf König himself was neither involved in the project in terms of content nor financially and clearly distances himself from the resulting sitcom, which he considers to be “terrible” and anti-gay.
