ARROW is an American superhero television series developed by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg, based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, a costumed crime fighter created by Mort Weisinger and George Papp. The series premiered in the United States on The CW on October 10, 2012, and was filmed primarily in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In January 2019, The CW renewed the series for a ten-episode eighth season, announcing in March that it would be its final season. ARROW consists of 170 episodes of 42 minutes.
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE 1: Curtis Holt / Mister Terrific (Echo Kellum) appears in seasons 4, 5 and 6 and is a guest in season 8. Kellum was upgraded to regular character in the fifth season of the series. Holt is a technology scientist, inventor and medal-winning Olympic decathlete who works at Palmer Technologies. Paul Holt (Chenier Hundal) is Curtis Holt's husband and a physical therapist. In 2011, Curtis and Paul got married. They broke up in 2017.
GAY COUPLE STORYLINE 2: After his divorce Curtis met Nick Anastas (Evan Roderick). He was originally a noble police officer against vigilantism. However, after getting fired by corrupt police captain Kimberly Hill, he understood being a vigilante was the only way to fight crime effectively. Since Curtis and Nick had a very different approach to justice when they first met, their relationship seemed doomed. However, they soon found a common ground and fell in love.

SPECIAL: Even though they aren't the main love story in Arrow, their love goes beyond dimensions since they're also a couple on Earth-2. Their relationship provides positive gay representation on this show.Things are getting better, but it's safe to say that shows like Arrow are still reluctant to portray queer relationships the same way their heterosexual counterparts do.
