AQUI NO HAY QUIEN VIVA (Int. Title : There is no one who lives here, also known by its abbreviation ANHQV) is a humorous Spanish television series that aired on Antena 3 between September 7, 2003 and July 6, 2006. AQUI NO HAY QUIEN VIVA consists of 91 episodes of 1 hour. 

STORY: The lives of the residents of the fictional building at 21 Desengaño. Calle Desengaño is a street between the Gran Via and Chueca districts of Madrid. This building consists of a block of three storeys, with a total of six houses, an attic used as a storage room and an adjacent building.

GAY COUPLE STORYLINE: Mauricio "Mauri" Hidalgo Torres (Luis Merlo) is a gay journalist who worked for a Cosmopolitan-type magazine. He is unstable, hypochondriac, has many obsessions and is quite insecure. During the first season, he lives with his lawyer friend Fernando (Adrià Collado), but Fernando left to work in London. When Fernando returns to Madrid, they start living together again. Recently, Mauri decided to write a book at the urging of Fernando and also because of his own lack of fulfilment in his career. He and Mauri are now married.
